Live provides an option to disable Prevent Cross-Site Tracking feature available in iOS settings app on our iOS devices.
Most websites use third-party content providers who track your browsing activities across websites to advertise products and services. Social media platforms put buttons such as share, like, etc., on different web pages, allowing them to track user activities. Different websites then consume this data to advertise products or services to the users.
To block this tracking, Safari has the Prevent Cross-site Tracking setting enabled by default. Safari flushes the cookies and website data every time users visit a web page, thus restricting data sharing across different websites.
However, in some scenarios you might want to utilize this user activity stored data. For example, you can use stored cookies and their website data to identify the user for authentication purposes. To test such scenarios, you can disable the Prevent Cross-Site Tracking setting on the device.
