Tamarack kicks off 2023/24 ski season with more terrain and winter experiences than ever

Tamarack will kick off the 2023/24 ski season on Friday, Dec. 8.

Operations at Tamarack will start at 9 a.m. and run until 4 p.m. seven days a week.

“We know our passholders and guests are eager to get on the snow, and we want to provide that opportunity as soon as possible—starting this Friday with limited terrain. As weather conditions allow, we’ll open more lifts and mountain access so skiers and riders can enjoy all 1,385 acres of terrain—a 25% increase over previous seasons,” says Wolfe Ashcraft Tamarack vice president of mountain operations.

The Discovery Chairlift will be in operation and skiers and snowboarders will have access to the expansive Discovery run. As more snow accumulates over the coming weeks more runs and lifts will be opened.

Starting this week there will be free Smore's on the Snowfront from 3-5 p.m. and Karaoke at the Seven Devils Taphouse from 7-9 p.m.

Saturday the ski bus is back, along with a DJ on the Snowfront from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. then at Seven Devils Taphouse from 3-5 p.m. The "King of the Disco " will be crowned on Saturday honoring the two people with the most lift rides. There will also be a triple screening of ski movies at the Seven Devils Taphouse.
